We are committed to scholastic excellence. Sixth through eighth grade students learn through a robust high school preparation curriculum. Teachers and parents work together with students to hone critical thinking skills and develop solid study habits. Middle school has a deeper concentration of core subjects: English, science, math, and history. Specialty classes like technology, art, physical education, music and foreign language—to name a few—complement core studies. Small classroom sizes allows for personal attention, in-depth projects, field trips, leadership opportunities, and community service.
A growing faith in God helps teach your child how to be an exceptional human being and have a healthy self image. Upon graduation from Our Shepherd, your child will have the academic skills and religious confidence to effect positive spiritual, moral, and cultural change within his or her own community, treating themselves and others with dignity and respect.
