I was born and raised in central Wisconsin.  I earned my bachelor’s degree from Concordia College, St. Paul, MN and my master’s degree from Concordia University, Irvine, CA.  Throughout my years of teaching I have had the opportunity to experience almost every grade level from K to 8 and have been blessed to  serve at Lutheran Schools in Nebraska, California, and Michigan.

I am married to the Director of Family Life Ministries at Our Shepherd.  We have been blessed with 3 children.  Faith and family are important to us.  Other interests include traveling, camping, bird watching, and hiking.  I enjoys Mexican food, reading biographies, and listening to Christian music.

My two favorite Bible verses reflect my attitude of making the most of the earthly life God has blessed me with while keeping my focus on the eternal life I have graciously been given through faith in Christ Jesus.

“Be faithful unto death and I will give you a crown of life.”
Revelation 2:10

“I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
John 10:10
